FilingsDaily is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
What stays on your device
- Your reading history, reactions, saved filings, radar preferences (followed filing types and ticker watchlist), language choice, and reminder settings are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. They are never uploaded.
- A local cache of recently fetched briefings is kept on-device so the app works offline.
What our servers see
- When the app fetches the daily briefing, our server receives the standard technical data of any HTTPS request (IP address, request path, language parameter). We use it to serve the response and apply anti-abuse rate limiting; we do not build user profiles.
- We do not collect names, emails, contacts, location, or device identifiers.
Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details. Subscription entitlement is verified on your device against Apple's StoreKit records — no purchase data is sent to our servers.
Notifications
The optional daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. It requires the iOS notification permission and involves no server or push infrastructure.
Content sources
All filing content is derived from public disclosures on SEC EDGAR. Summaries are generated by AI for information only and are never investment advice.
Children
FilingsDaily is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
